Bringing your kitten home, What you will need !

Bringing your new fur-baby home is a very exciting thing ,

however it is also a very important time and you need to make sure you are ready to bring him/her home

We have provided a check list of items you will need for the arrival of your new family member

* OZ-Pet/kitter-litter pine wood pellet litter

* Oz pet litter tray or the kitter-litter tray systems

* Cat scratch or cat tree

* Soft Bed , Toys, Cat Brush

* Food ( Royal Canin kitten  dry food )

* cat carrier (to take kitten home in)

* Pet insurance

We recommend setting all  these items up in a safe place were your kitten can easy find and see them close by,

it is also a good idea to limit your home to your new kitten for the first day to give him/her  time to adjust slowly without being overwhelmed.

JENCATS British Shorthairs are indoor cats and we HIGHLY recommend that you do not allow your british to roam,  it is not only  unsafe for them with the dangers of cars, dogs, possums, stray cats carrying deadly diseases that may attack and infect them, and bad people that may want to take your pedigree feline, they are also dangerous themselfs to wildlife (although british are lazy they are still a predator), because of these reasons we do not beleive they want nor need to roam free.  We recommend having a safe  out door cat run for your british to enjoy the out doors or teach them to walk on a cat safe harness lead.

JENCATS British Shorthairs cats leave our home in good health completely upto date with all vaccinations and treated for ALL parasites and All worms,

All kittens are sold with a terms and conditions of sale and vet health report cleared healthy.  We recommend that you continue to stay up to date with these vaccinations and treatments and take your British for a yearly checkup to maintain their health and insure they and you enjoy many happy years together.

Jencats British Shorthairs are not responsibility for a cat/kitten after it has left our care for any reason, We offer no refunds of any money paid to Jencats british shorthairs for change of mind for any reason. We take no responsibility for a kitten/cat health or welfare once it has been collected it is the new owners responsibility to be aware of the care requirements and the health risks to owning/purchasing a pedigree cat from a cattery and the new owner takes full responsibility in regards to all costs for said cat or kitten after collection.
